AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the governor of Kwara State, claims that security in the country has improved.
In a statement titled "No alternative to peace, Kwara Gov says in Eid message," Rafiu Ajakaye, the Governor's Chief Press Secretary, announced this on Tuesday.
In a brief conversation with media in Ilorin, the state capital, the Governor discussed the improvement of security in his state and across Nigeria, according to the statement.
“It is a message of peace,” he says. There is no other option than to live in harmony. This is a peaceful environment, and we should keep it that way. Our forefathers worked tirelessly to establish peace in the state, and we will continue to fight to keep peace and unity alive in our beloved state.
“It is a new frontier,” says the narrator. In terms of security, we have seen improvements all throughout the nation. “We are certain that things will improve in the future,” AbdulRazaq added.
He went on to say, "We thank the President for deploying all of the arsenals he could." We thank all institutions, security agencies, traditional rulers, and all of our people for cooperating to address the worrisome level of insecurity.”
