Going by statistics and photos that are being released on a weekly basis by the team of the Governor of Rivers State, Barrister Nyesom Wike, in the last 7 months the governor is always commissioning one or two projects in Rivers State, reports also have it that, he has over 200 projects lined up for commissioning till 2023. Here are photos and details of some of his projects:
1, The Port Harcourt Campus of Nigerian Law School: The construction began on the 17 of July, 2021 by Governor Wike and the location of the new Campus is said to be situated at Rumueme, the project is expected to be completed and delivered in six months.
2, The Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Dr. (Mrs.) Ipalibo Harry-Banigo awarded scholarships to 55 undergraduates from her community.
3, The bridge at Isiokpo, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State has been in a deplorable condition and was said to be a danger to commuters. The governor kicked off the rehabilitation of the bridge and Rivers State commissioner for works Hon. Eloka Tasie-Amadi, visited the site of the project, which is already ongoing.
4, The Cancer and Vascular Center: According to the governor, the hospital will be the best in Nigeria when completed, the contract was signed with Julius Berger and project is to be delivered in 10 months.
5, The Opobo/Nkoro road completed and ready for commissioning by Rivers State Governor
