According to the reports coming in right now, the former Chief of Staff to Imo State Governor and President Ugwumba Centre for Leadership Development in Africa, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu has gifted Mary Daniel a sum of One Million Naira to enable her setup a provision store in Lagos.
Chief Uche Nwosu had on the 19th of April 2021, stumbled on the viral pictures of Mary Daniel who was seen hawking bottles of water on the street of Lagos despite being an amputee. Moved by her situation, Chief Nwosu started a search for Mary and in less than 24hours, he got her details that, Mary usually hawks her bottles water at the popular Oshodi market, Lagos.
Upon getting her contact details, Chief Uche Nwosu immediately took flight to Lagos where he scheduled a breakfast meeting with Mary Daniel at Lagos Island on Sunday, April 11, 2021. After discussing with her, Mary disclosed that her interest is to setup a provision store to help her cater for herself, her two year-old daughter and aged mother.
Chief Uche Nwosu and his friends immediately raised the sum of One Million Naira and handed the cheque over to Mary Daniel to enable her setup a provision store.
Nwosu called on Nigerians to support Mary Daniel and other people who are facing similar challenges across the country.
26 year-old Mary Daniel who hails from Anyigba, Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State had an accident when she was 11 years old which resulted in amputation of her right leg.
This should serve as an inspiration to others who think that they cannot rise above their challenges. All you need to do is just to encourage yourself and above all, lay your hands on something legitimate to do and God Almighty will do the rest.
