After Failing To Win Party Primary In 2019, Checkout Ambode’s Current Position For APC

In 2019, Akinwunmi Ambode, the former Lagos state governor handed over power to his APC successor, Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu, after he lost party primaries to represent the All Progressive Congress (APC) for second term during the last governorship election in Lagos state.

Since the Sanwo-Olu’s led administration, the absent of Ambode has been felt, as he has avoided social media presence and various state functions even as an “elder state man”.

Few hours ago, Ambode took to his official social media handle to share photos of a meeting session which he had with his APC colleagues, as he was made member of contract and strategy committee of the party. Prior to Ambode’s post, his last social media activity was in 2019.

“Along with other notable and distinguished colleagues, I was today selected by our party, the All Progressive Congress, to be a member of the Contact and Strategy Committee. This is a call to serve the Party and more importantly, our nation.” Ambode wrote.
