While reacting to this, Aisha Yesufu took to her Twitter handle to commend the action of Albania Parliament for representing the People. She also compared the actions of the Albania Parliament with that of Nigeria's National Assembly, stating that the Representatives, representing Nigerians in the National Assembly are slavish in their approach towards crucial matters.
After the Federal Government banned the operations of Twitter in Nigeria, there has been several calls from Nigerians, urging the National Assembly to deliberate on the issue and force the Federal Government to lift the ban.
However, the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan has heed to the call by setting up an investigative committee to look into the situation.
