Stella Oduah has joined the All Progressive Congress shortly after EFCC filed charges against her for money laundering. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has been investigating her for long against the charges.
Ms. Oduah, who is a member of the People Democratic Party for a long time join APC today, Thursday, according to the party.
The picture of Ms. Oduah has surfaced online together with APC caretaker chairman Mai Mala Buni, Governor Hope Uzodinma, and other party leaders.
Her decamping to All Progressive Congress came shortly after Peter Nwaoboshi, another PDP senator who is under the watch of EFCC for alleged fraud joined the party. His case was on the alleged loot of NDDC funds.
Ms. Oduah was firstly accused of corruption when she worked as the minister of aviation during former President Goodluck Jonathan's tenure. She was voted as a senator amidst all the scandals in 2015 and was reelected in 2019.
For a long time now she has denied all the allegations levied on her. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission said that she laundered over N5 billion with construction firm CCECC and moved to arraign her.
