Recall that hours ago, the court gave the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) the permission to reconfigure the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machine ahead of the gubernatorial election. While a lot of people were thinking that the commission will sit down and do the needful, Punch Newspaper reported that the March 11 election has been postponed by INEC till March 18.
Reacting to this, the Arise TV presenter, Oseni Rufai said that the postponement of the election shows that INEC was ill-prepared (not ready) to conduct elections, and that despite the fact that they got a court order to reconfigure BVAS, they still couldn't deliver. He said the postponement of the election speaks volume.
