The Honourable minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio denies the allegation brought by Mrs. Joy Nunieh as he tags her to be resisting "the wind of change".
Mrs Joy Nunieh is the former Managing Director of the Interim Management Committee, IMC, of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.
The minister sidelined through question when raised in a press conference in Abuja, saying he is more concerned in what his administration can do for Nigerians and how to ensure that NDDC delivers it's mandate.
He believes the rumors and allegations flying around is because "change is coming"
Joh had said, during the week that she is the first and only woman to have slapped Senator Akpabio.
Mrs. Nunieh said when she appeared on Arise TV on Monday to addressed the allegations raised against her by Akpabio that she is the first and only woman to have slapped Senator Akpabio when he allegedly tried to violate her.
“My meetings with Akpabio were either in Apo or Meridian, those are his meeting points…so I slapped him… I am accusing Akpabio of sexual harassment.”
Akpabio, in the past, has discredited her saying the former NDDC MD has character problem.
