Leading governorship candidates in Lagos State on Thursday visited victims of a train crash at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) in the Ikeja area of the state.
The incumbent who is seeking reelection, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Labour Party (LP)’s Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour known as GRV and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s Olajide Adediran aka Jandor all visited the injured victims at the hospital.
They identified and sympathised with the injured persons who are receiving treatment in the hospital.
Woman drags husband to court denying her conjugal rights
A businesswoman, Mrs Joy Abu on Thursday, dragged her husband, Daniel before a Customary Court in Nyanya, Abuja, for allegedly denying her conjugal rights.

Joy, who resides in the Jikwoyi area of Abuja, also accused her husband of being irresponsible.
The woman, who is seeking a divorce, told the court that her husband does not care about her and their children.
“My husband has practically denied me of my conjugal rights; he doesn’t care to know how I feel, he doesn’t know that marriage is not only about food.
“A responsible man will cater also for the emotional needs of his wife,”she said.

In a statement on Wednesday night, INEC National Commissioner for Voter Education, Festus Okoye, said the elections will hold on Saturday, March 18.
He said following the ruling by the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (EPT) on the reconfiguration of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) used for the February 25 Presidential election, the Commission met to assess its impact on its preparations for the governorship exercise.
INEC replaces Rivers collation officer over alleged death threats

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has replaced Professor Omiete Briggs, the collation officer for Port Harcourt City Local Government Area in Rivers State for the February 25 presidential and national assembly election over alleged to threats to her life.
Following reported cases of threats against her life, Dr. Johnson Alalibo Sinikiem, the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in Rivers State, announced the replacement of the Collation.
He claims that Dr. Amoniya Briggs, the professor’s husband, has complained that his wife has been the target of death threats because she refused to tamper with or make compromises with the results of the Port Harcourt local government election for the President and National Assembly on February 25.
During the Saturday, March 11, governorship and house of assembly elections, Prof. Briggs was scheduled to continue serving as the local government’s collation officer for Port Harcourt City, but INEC asked her to stop for the sake of her safety.
