As Nigerians eagerly await the completion of the historic second Niger bridge, an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain has come out to take a swipe at secessionist agitators in the Southeast.
For those who are not aware, the 11.9km bridge which links Anambra and Delta States, has been scheduled for commissioning by President Muhammadu Buhari in October 2022, after it was said to have reached 91 percent completion.

As expected, this development has sent some staunch APC loyalists into a state of jubilation.
For example, some hours ago, a chieftain of the ruling party, Joe Igbokwe took to his Facebook page to express his excitement that the bridge is finally nearing completion against all odds.
In his post, Igbokwe, who happens to be the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Government on Drainage and Water Resources, shared pictures of the second Niger bridge while throwing jabs at secessionist agitators who opposed its construction from the onset.
Describing the project as historic, the APC chieftain insisted that no amount of hate, arson, or bigotry can stop the Buhari regime from completing it.
