About 3,000 people make up the tribe known as Korowai. This tribe resides in the south eastern west Papua. And according to record, these people were not aware that there were other people in the world until late 1970s.
The people are mainly hunters and also horticulturists and their main system of agriculture is shifting cultivation. Bigger men tend to be leaders among the korowai people and they allegedly engage in witchcraft and sorcery which causes Interclan wars.
