As some aggrieved members of the All Progressive Congress are at loggerheads concerning the rightful candidate for the office of Senate president in the upcoming 10th National Assembly, Felix Morka, the spokesman of the party revealed during an interview with Channels TV that consultations will continue despite the party's zoning of the NASS leadership.

It would be recalled that the party had earlier announced the zoning of the Senate presidency position to the South-South region, adding that Senator Godswill Akpabio is the anointed candidate for the post.
However, Felix Morka claimed that the members of the party were consulted and also carried along before the party decided to make the decision.
According to one of his statements, Felix Morka also said that "consultation is an unfinished business and it is ongoing."
"Most of the party members you people referenced were consulted, but consultations do not have to be universal, and not every member of the party will be consulted before we carry out the decision." He said
While speaking further, he also said that "APC didn't shave the heads of her members in the game; consultations are ongoing."
"At times you might decide to ask a member for his opinion, and he may not agree. Does that mean his opinion will stop the decision from being made?"
"Even if a member of the party is not content with the zoning, the best thing for them is to continue to engage in the party's deliberations." He added
