Just in: Nigeria confirmed 595 new cases of covid19, insist on 'no reopening of schools'
The Centre for Disease Control in Nigeria had confirmed 595 new cases of coronavirus and 293 recoveries on Thursday.

The 595 new cases are reported from 24 states- Lagos (156), Ondo (95), Rivers (53), Abia (43), Oyo (38), Enugu (29), Edo (24), FCT(23), Kaduna (20), Akwa Ibom (17), Anambra (17), Osun (17), Ogun (14), Kano (13), Imo (11), Delta (6), Ekiti (5), Gombe (4), Plateau (4), Cross River (2), Adamawa (1), Bauchi (1), Jigawa (1), Yobe (1)
The Buhari lead administration has insist on it decision of not reopening schools in the country, even with the order given by the House of representative in Nigeria.
 The federal government which make know Through the Minister of State for Education, Chief Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, says it does not have confidence yet to proceed with the re-opening of schools in view of the increasing number of COVID-19 infections as released by National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
"The Minister said this while responding to questions from journalist after the eighth virtual Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting chaired by President Muhammadu Buhari".
He said the decision to keep schools closed remains unchanged.
