President Muhammadu is the Democratic leader of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. As the number citizen of the country, he has to Civic responsibility of visiting his subjects to monitor the state of development in their various communities. Igboland is one of the regions that he loves to identify with on all occasions. Below are 2 Southeastern States that has witnessed his official visit Ascension to Power.
Dave Umahi the Executive Governor of Ebonyi state is one of the Igbo Politicians that enjoys a cordial working relationship with President Buhari. The number of developmental projects that he embarked on after clinching power cannot be Overemphasized. The commissioning of some of these projects attracted official visit of Buhari.
The President was present in Abakaliki On the 15th of November 2017 to do the needful. It was his first official visit to the Southeastern after ascending into office in 2015. He gave a speech of encouragement to the citizens of Ebonyi before the commissioning of projects commenced. He was later honored with a Traditional Title by Chieftaincy elders of the land. He was called the Ochiagha Ndigbo 1 of Southeast.

Few Hours ago President was in Imo state for an official visit. He was invited by Governor Hope Uzodinma for the commissioning of some state projects. He was adorned with the Isiagu Cultural attire for which the Igbos are known. Security personnels were also present all over the venue to prevent any unforeseen circumstance.
