In Nigeria, citizens that are a graduate of tertiary institutions are advised to serve the country by going for the national youth service corps programme which last for a year and it is an experience on it own.
A lady recently came on Twitter to lament after seeing the state of the corpers lodge she was given in Imo state.
She took photos of the house and posted it online which gained attention.
People had a thing or two to say about the corpers lodge and others were sharing their experiences when they did their NYSC programme in the various state they were posted to in Nigeria.
@alearningbeing : NYSC has outlived it usefulness. The country is not even rich enough to fund it adequately. It should be scrapped.
@emeka_raphael : I wonder how their toilet will look like.. Okada camp is somehow better. Na bunk beds though
@hyperopique : I remember when they showed me the corpers Lodge in Ondo, I told the vice principal"if I sleep here overnight, I will die"
Personally I think the lodge meant for corpers in the country should be condusive enough for them to stay.
What do you think of this lodge and do share your experience if you have once been a corpers.
