Buhari Issues Fresh Order To Nigerian Soldiers

According to Naija News, President Buhari has issued fresh order to the Nigerian Military concerning putting an end to banditry and insurgency.

It was gathered that the president has directed the Nigerian Military to 'speak to bandits in the language they will understand'.

The President, through his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu gave this order on Saturday.

Radio Biafra Names New Successor

According to Daily Post, Radio Biafra has continued operation despite the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu by the Nigerian Government.

It was gathered that the board of the media outlet, appointed Simon Ekpa as the new head of Radio Biafra.

Recall that IPOB's leader, Nnamdi Kanu was arrested in Kenya and was extradited to Nigeria to face trial for treason among other crimes.

Reps Seek To Remove Buhari's Immunity Clause

The House of Representatives is seeking to remove the immunity clause enjoyed by President Buhari and Governors in the country.

It was gathered that the lawmakers are considering a bill to ensure the removal of the immunity clause enjoyed by Governors, President, lawmakers and public office holders.

The bill which will soon be read at the second time at the Green Chamber, was sponsored by Hon. Rimamnde Kwewum.

Another Senator Dumps PDP For APC

Popular members of the All Progressive Congress (APC), stormed Yola on Saturday to receive PDP Senator, Grace Bent, who defected to APC.

APC Chieftains such as Governors Atiku Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi state, Muhammadu Badaru of Jigawa, Tahaya Bello of Kogi, Simon Lalong of Plateau etc.

Speaking during her Defection Gathering on Saturday, Bent said that she joined APC, because she have had enough of PDP.
