It will be recalled that Abe has been at loggerheads with his Former Ally and Ex-Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi over the control of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Structure in the State. Abe contested for the 2023 APC Governorship Ticket, but he was edged out of the Race after Amaechi anointed Tonye Cole as the Rivers State APC Flagbearer.
