A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Segun Olulade, has urged Chief Bola Tinubu to contest during the next Presidential election in the country. Olulade explained his reasons for imploring Bola Tinubu to participate in the contest during an interview on TVC News.
You may have heard that Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu recently returned to Nigeria from the United Kingdom. Bola Tinubu is the former governor of Lagos state, and he is a leader of the APC. Tinubu had earlier revealed the reason for his visit to the UK before returning to Nigeria recently. Some APC members have since celebrated the return of their leader.
Segun Olulade is a former member of the Lagos State House of Assembly and a member of the APC.
Speaking during his interview, Segun said, "That is the man we are all here for, as someone rightly said, we are ready to take him to court if he decides not to contest. We are ready to ensure that Bola Tinubu contests."
Explaining further, Olulade said, "Bola Tinubu has done it in Lagos. He has turned Lagos into the Jerusalem of Africa. We believe that Bola Tinubu can do for Nigeria better than what he did in Lagos State."
