The President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari has become furious this time, over the senseless killings taking place in the country by killer bandits. Bandits have taken pride in perpetrating their criminal activities, mainly kidnappings in the country. Their activities have become widespread and largely credited to the porous nature of our security structure.
President Muhammadu Buhari reacting to the recent killing by this set of people has heavily condemned them. It has been reported earlier by credible media source that 10 persons were killed in Zamfara by these bandits.
As reported by Dailypost, the president reacting to the killing said "this insane and persistent violence against innocent people must stop”. Buhari stressed that the wanton disregard to lives would be brought to an end sooner."
He further warned the bandits to stop thinking the Federal government don't have the power to crush them. His statement reads "these criminals should stop pushing their luck too far by believing that the government lacks the capacity to crush them.”
The President finally assured the residents of Zamfara state that despite the latest set back in the security structures and their efforts to protect citizens, they are regrouping to defeat these enemies of humanity.
We pray the Nigerian security operatives win this war. Insurgency and banditry must be wiped out of the country for real development to take place.
