The queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II, is one of the most respected and revered personalities on earth because of her status.
The Queen commands so much respect and honour where she goes and many respected leaders across the globe had been seen bowing for her.
Queen Elizabeth II indeed is a symbol of respect and honour and many leaders had no choice than to bow for her and respect the status she carries.
She was born Elizabeth Alexandra Mary on April 21, 1926 in Mayfair, London as first child of the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth.
The Queen succeeded her father and was coronated on June 2, 1953 after her father, King Gearge VI passed on.
The Queen who is currently 94 years old has visited many country across the globe including Nigeria, a formerly colony of country.
During her visit to Nigeria in the early days of Nigeria Independent, she had met with past Nigerian leaders like, Ahmadu Bello, Tafawa Balewa, Obafemi Awolowo, Oba of Benin amongst others were seen bowing for the queen.

04-04 15:27:30Igbo leaders refused to bow to her while greeting her, perhaps that was one of the reasons why they never favored Igbos as a people.
