1. Theodore Orji and Chinedum Orji
The 71years-old Theodore Orji is the immediate past Governor of Abia State, a position he occupied from 2007 to 2015 under the PDP platform. The Civil Servant turned Politician is currently a Second-term Senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly
His Son, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji is a trained Engineer turned Politician, The 50years-old Orji is a Second-term Lawmaker representing Umahia Central State Consistuency at the Abia State House of Assembly. Since June 2019, Chinedum Orji has been serving as Speaker of the Abia State Assembly.
2. Murtala Nyako and Abdulaziz Nyako
The 78years-old Murtala Nyako, A Retired Naval Officer turned Politician is a Former Governor of Adamawa State, he was in office from May 2007 till July 2014 when he was impeached by Members of the Adamawa State House of Assembly. His Son, Abdulaziz Nyako is a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State. The Ex-lawmaker represented Adamawa Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly from 2015 to 2019. He contested to become the Governor of Adamawa State in March 2019 as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Candidate but did not win. Senator Abdulaziz Nyako later returned to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
3. Sule Lamido and Mustapha Sule-Lamido
The 72years-old Sule Lamido is a Founding Member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). The Businessman turned Politician served as Foreign Affairs Minister from 1999 to 2003. In April 2007, He was elected as Governor of Jigawa State, Lamido won a re-election in 2011 and served until 2015. His Son, Mustapha Sule Lamido, 38 is a trained Political Scientist, Business Mogul and Politician. He was the 2019 Senatorial Candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Jigawa Central Senatorial District.
4. Olusegun Osoba and Olumide Osoba
Osoba, 81 is a veteran Journalist turned Politician, The Abeokuta, Ogun State indigene is a Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). He was a Two-term Governor of Ogun State serving on Two different occasions, from 1992 to 1993 and 1999 to 2003. His Son, Hon. Olumide Babatunde Osoba, 44 is a Second-term Member representing Abeokuta North/Odeda/Obafemi Owode Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives under the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform.
5. Ibrahim Idris and Abubakar Ibrahim-idris
Ibrahim Idris is one the longest serving Governors in Nigeria, The Businessman turned Politician governed Kogi State from May 2003 to January 2012. He was succeeded by his Brother-in-law, Captain Idris Wada. The People's Democratic Party (PDP) Topshot hails from Idah Local Government Area of Kogi State. His Son, Abubakar Ibrahim-idris is popularly called Abu Ibro in Kogi Political Circles was a Top Contender for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Ticket during the 2019 Gubernatorial Election held in the Confluence State.
