Professor Akintoye has revealed that Obafemi Awolowo told him that for peace to reign and for the aim of his people to be achieved they must work together with Igbos because working alone would not produce any profitable result and it is not the best thing for the two tribes if freedom is their aim. Akintoye revealed that Awolowo's words are now making meaning to him because Awolowo discerned that times would come when the two people would need to work together if their goals must be achieved.
Professor Baji Akintoye who is the spokesman of the Oduduwa nation revealed that things are now going the way Obafemi Awolowo told him. He said that he is calling on the two ethnic groups to embrace peace and unity with one another because their aim can only be achieved if they unite and make their decision known to everyone.
Baji Akintoye reiterated that the negative things happening is because the two tribes have not embraced each other to stand against anyone stopping them from achieving their aim. Nigerians have reacted after Baji Akintoye spoke about what he discussed with the late Obafemi Awolowo concerning the freedom that Igbos and Yorubas are seeking, check out what some Nigerians have said.
