Following the death of a one-time president, and, alumni of Nigerian Political Science Association, who gave up the ghost on Saturday, and was buried in Abuja, President Muhammadu Buhari, has mourned his departure.
According to a statement disclosed by Mr. Garba Shehu, the presidential spokesperson, "he said that the late scholar was an extraordinary human being, an outstanding political scientist, and brilliant academic who played a role in every constitutional reform carried by the nation, from Independence Day to the present."
Also as Head of Department of Political Science,and Internationally Studies, Ahmadu Bello University, he was a source of inspiration to many distinguished scholars, and administrators.
The president also said that the prominent political scientist made Nigeria a better place, and, deserves every bit of his fame.
President Buhari went ahead to offer his condolences to family members of the deceased, and, also to the indigenes of Kano State, and the federal government.
