Following the outcome of the Saturday 25th February 2023 presidential election, Reno Omokri, a popular Nigeria public commentator and Human Right Activist who is also a supporter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on political parties and spokespersons in Nigeria to use their words to heal the people and not for the opposite.
Reno who took to his social media Twitter a couple of hours ago to give the advice said there is time for everything and that this is the time those mentioned above should focus on deescalating the tension. He called on them to allow the Judiciary to handle whatever view they may have.
According to him, “election has come and gone”
His post read, “It is time for spokespersons of all candidates and parties to deescalate the tension. Election has come and gone. Allow the judicial process lead to progress or retrogress. There’s a time for everything. Use your words for healing henceforth”
