According to the governor he said that, IPOB currently has the Eastern Governors on their death list and if care is not taken war will break out.

Cautioning the Leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and his followers he warned them against starting a civil war in the country.
He said this while in an interview at a studio house in Abuja.
The governor while admonishing Nigerians, said fighting or violence would not favor anyone and also would not bring the much needed solution the country needs.
Emphasising on dialogue speaking and peaceful talks the governor also said that although some of the reasons for IPOB'S creation like Inequality and marginalisation is valid, he added that the strategy employed by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu would not favor anyone.
Also speaking on the issue of insecurity in the country, the governor called on the federal government to do what's needed so leave can reign in the country.
