Reasons Why It Is Glaring That Wike Did Not Support Atiku In The 2023 Presidential Election

Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, a Nigerian politician and lawyer who is also the sixth and current governor of Rivers State, was not in support of his party for the presidential election, and these are the facts to back up these claims.

The PDP didn't campaign in Rivers State

During the course of the presidential campaign, which took Atiku Abubakar around most of the states in Nigeria, the PPD flagbearer was not able to visit Rivers State during the campaign. Recall that Wike didn't support the fact that a northerner should go for the presidency in the People's Democratic Party. If Wike was in support of his party, there is no doubt they would have campaigned in Rivers State.

The All Progressives Congress's Words to Wike After Tinubu Was Declared Winner

According to Vanguard Newspapers, the All Progressives Congress made a statement to Nyesom Wike after Tinubu was declared the winner of the election. The party promised the governor of Rivers State that they were going to reciprocate Wike's contribution to Tinubu's victory in the 2023 presidential election that was held last Saturday. Recall that Bola Ahmed Tinubu defeated Atiku Abubakar in the state by a wide margin.

Wike's Appreciation to Nigerians for Backing Power Shift to the South

According to reports from Channels Television today, Wike has thanked Nigerians for ensuring that power has been shifted back to the south, which he felt meant that the "rotational presidency" is now settled. Recall that Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who won the election, is from the south-east.

It is glaring from these points that Wike didn't support Atiku Abubakar.
