The agitations from Yoruba Nation and IPOB are have raised so much tension to the extent that so many people have started reacting towards it. Yoruba Nation and IPOB agitators have been seeking Nigeria's division through their leaders Nnamdi Kanu And Sunday Igboho but they fail to know that Nigeria is too formidable to divide.
Recently, Sheik Ahmad Gumi advised Southern clerics to engage those behind the uprising in the region the same way he does to bandits.
The respected cleric said this in a statement he issued in reaction to the call for bandits to be declared terrorists.
However, Nigerians are curious about knowing if the advice from Ahmad Gumi to Southern Clerics will help to end Yoruba Nation And IPOB agitations In Nigeria.
Nevertheless, Nigerians should know that Yoruba Nation and Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) activities are unlawful and it is against the peace and unity of Nigeria. Therefore, I believe the Southern clerics must have prayed for the unity of Nigeria and they know the best way to tackle separatist agitations in the region but if they wish to listen to Ahmad Gumi's Advice it is left for them to decide.
Secondly, Nigerians should know that Federal Government has earlier declared IPOB as a terrorist group and their activities are against the Nigerian Constitution. Therefore, the advice from Ahmad Gumi to southern clerics may help to end their agitations because if clerics come together to pray against all the secession groups their plans to divide Nigeria will end.
Lastly, I urge IPOB and Yoruba Nation agitators to stop the agitations. Instead, they should allow peace and unity to grow among Nigerians.
