Senator Rochas Okorocha has warned the Governor of Imo State Hope Uzodinma not to take his calm disposition for granted, saying he would not allow a repeat of what happened to him.
Okorocha was arrested on Sunday by police in Imo State after a fracas over the sealing of a hotel belonging to Mr Okorocha’s wife by the state government.
The former governor of the state, while addressing supporters after his release from Police custody, said he did not want chaos in the state which is while he did not allow his security guards to engage the thugs who he said where guided by men of the Nigeria Police Force to arrest him.
Okorocha warned Governor Uzodinma to stop intimidating him and his supporters saying the antics would not work, rather he should face governance and fulfill the promises he made to the people while refraining from the wrong path he has taken.
“Hope Uzodimna must take the path of caution and I so warn.” Senator Okorocha stated.
Okorocha called on the Inspector General of Police to arrest Nwanerri stating that if the Police fails to do so, they have no reason to arrest any Nigerian.
