Spokesperson of the Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign council, Festus Keyamo, has taken to social media to disclose one of the reasons why 2023 presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar was defeated by his colleagues in the presidential election that was conducted few days ago.
Recall that the INEC chairman, professor Mahmood Yakubu had few hours ago, declared 2023 presidential candidate of the ruling APC party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the next president of Nigeria, following his ability to accumulate the highest number of votes in the polls.
And so, following such victory by the ruling APC party, Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, took to his official Twitter account to share an old tweet where he stated that PDP sacrificed the surest and most loyal bases it has in pursuit of the numbers that it does not have in the Northern part of Nigeria.
And so, Festus Keyamo on speaking about such tweet, stated that he has been proven to be hundred percent correct, adding that unless one is deliberately blind, it is easy to see why Atiku Abubakar lost, which is mostly due to the abandonment of PDP by its loyal bases in the Southern part of Nigeria.
