Note- To hear is for sound, while understand is to comprehend.

There is no water at home. Right 


Note- Water is uncountable.


3. The rain fell heavily yesterday. Wrong

It rained heavily yesterday. Right


Note- rain cannot fall.


4. When I was in trouble, he borrowed me money. Wrong

When I was in trouble, he lent me money. Right


Note- To borrow implies an action of taking while lend means giving out.


5. I have Catarrh. Wrong

I am suffering from Catarrh. Right


Note- Catarrh is not something to boast of.
