In a private meeting with Everyday Trust, the Public Director of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Representative Abdullahi Adamu, acknowledged that they played a significant and tragic role in the official political decision in 2023 due to the fact that the nationality and religion governmental issues that Tinubu played became a problem for him over time, and at some point, they generally lost their encounters. During the meeting, Representative Adamu also talked about the accusations made by Peter Obi, a new official with the Labour Party, that the political race was rigged. He said that Bola Tinubu would have won Lagos, Nasarawa, Kaduna, Gombe, Katsina, and Yobe if the political race was rigged.
He went on to say that while there were other factors in the political race that were just as important, he concentrated on the fact that the APC's stumble choice was primarily based on religious and nationality issues. He urged all legislators, who aspire to establish a majority rule in this country, to investigate the situation in order to rescue the nation from the mess of strict and ethnic governmental issues.
He stated, "The government issues of nationality and religion that Tinubu played was a mistake for us, and we lost our experience."
It remains the significant and tragic example we have learned from the APC, where nationality and religion have been elevated to the forefront, a far cry from what we had previously experienced. That action that our relatives took is, in my opinion, a misfortune, regardless of your thinking about other factors that are also relevant to the political decision. We really do pray to God that all legislators who want to build a majority rule system in this country will look into what's going on to get the country out of this mess of strict and ethnic legislative issues.
