Femi Kayode who is a political Activist took to his twitter to explain why Nigeria of 2021 is not the same as Nigeria of 2015 or 2019.
He went further to say that the rules of engagement and the entire game has changed as the biggest mistake any politician will make is to assume that Nigeria of 2021 is the same as Nigeria of 2015 or 2019.
The quest for self determination is now the rule of the day and not power rotation or restructuring, he stated.
Nigerians have woken up to the reality on ground in Nigeria especially in the aspects of leadership. There is nothing like democracy in our country but rather nepotism.
Our leaders only favour their own cabals and leave others to suffer penury. All they look for is to satisfy their own selfish interest at the detriments of the poor masses.
I believe Nigerians have learnt their lessons in a hard way never to vote for an elderly person again especially someone who is not capable and incompetent to carry out his or her duties effectively.
People are now wiser and will not make same mistake again in electing their leaders. The likes of Buhari, Tinubu etc will not smell any political appointment again rather we need vibrant and youthful leader who knows what leadership and democracy is all about.
The masses are bottling up their anger waiting for a day to explode and when it happens revolution will take place. Bad leaders will be chased out of office, corruption and bad governance will seize to exist.
Nigerians are ready and patiently waiting for 2023 elections to let their vote count but is quite unfortunate that our electoral body are not straight forward and will always do what they are known for by favouring the person who brought bribe to them but in all we are still hopeful that something good will come out of 2023 elections.
