Aisha Yesufu Somtochukwu, human rights activist, reacted after the AAC presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore said that some people wanted Seun Kuti to be prosecuted because he did not support Peter Obi for president in the last presidential election.
Aisha Yesufu reacted in a tweet on her official Twitter account a few minutes ago.
Recall that a video has been trending and circulating on all social media since yesterday which captured a moment, which Seun Kuti slapped a police officer. The video has generated lots of reactions and criticism. In fact, the IG of police has ordered the arrest of Seun Kuti for his action and that the matter will be investigated.
However, Omoyele Sowore said that there is nothing wrong if some people admit that they want Seun Kuyi summarily executed because he did not support Peter Obi for president in the last election. After all, even the police said they will investigate what led to the altercation between Seun Kuti and the Police but because he did not support Peter Obi, some people now want him executed speedily.
However, Aisha Yesufu having seen Sowore's tweet reacted and wrote,
"If Peter Obi did what Seun Kuti did as captured on camera we will call him out. If we support the injustice perpetuated by our own the. We are no different from those we fight.
