Ohanaeze youths task Southern Govs on anti-open grazing bill 

As the Southern Governors meet in Enugu, Thursday, the Ohanaeze Youths Council, OYC has appealed to the forum to prioritize the anti-open grazing law.

“We heartily welcome them to Enugu, a very peaceful state, and urge them to ensure that resolutions they make during these meetings are implemented by all the member-states,” a statement by the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo OYC, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike stated on Wednesday.

Be Mindful Of Your Relationship With IPOB, Presidency Warns Yoruba Nation Protesters

The presidency has advised Yoruba Nation, a group of secessionist to be mindful of the relationship with the outlawed Independent People of Biafra (IPOB).

Garba Shehu, presidential spokesman, gave the warning while reacting to the protest that both groups staged at the United Nations headquarters in New York, on Tuesday.

Nigeria to assist DRC in establishing national fire service 

The Nigerian Government has concluded plans to assist the Democratic Republic of Congo in establishing its national fir service.

The controller General of the Federal Fire Service (FFS), Dr Ibrahim Liman, disclosed this during a courtesy call on the Nigeria Correctional Service, Taraba Command.

Liman said the leadership of the DRC had already requested the assistance which Nigeria was positively disposed to accepting.
