General elections will be held in Nigeria on 23 February 2023 to elect the President, Vice President, House of Representatives and Senate. The winners of the election will be inaugurated on 29 May 2023, the former date of Democracy Day.
The upcoming 2023 presidential election is another chance for the opposition party to challenge the ruling party. The All Progressive Congress (APC) is stronger than the opposition party because of its political strength and popularity.
Tinubu may probably be emerge as APC Presidential Candidate, although he has not made his perceived presidential ambition known publicly, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu is believed to be among those who may give the 2023 presidential seat a shot.
But recent moves by forces loyal to him show it’s a matter of time before he makes his intention known.

It would be unimaginable for Mr. Umar Ganduje to deny Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The Kano State governor would rely on the fact that Kano has the highest number of votes to become a powerful politician. Kano State is the second most populous state in Nigeria after Lagos, also the will have more delegate during presidential primary election because it has 44 Local Government Areas.
This is why Tinubu must beg Governor Ganduje of Kano State for support if he wants to win the 2023 presidential ticket of the APC.

There are chances that APC will zone the 2023 presidency to the South, and if that happens, Tinubu may be the first option for APC, and also for the President. That is because of Tinubu's political structure in the South.
Among the APC politicians in the South, Tinubu undoubtedly has the strongest political structure, and that may be a huge consideration in the selection of a candidate from the region.
The truth is that, the President would not want his party to lose the 2023 presidential election, so he would make efforts to ensure that someone who has the structure to win an election is chosen for the race.

Recall that in a report that was released by Joe Igbokwe, he made it known that Governor Zulum came to reinforce his commitment that he is 100% in support of the Southern presidency comes 2023.

He’s one of the few Northern governors that have given their support for the southern governors’ agenda, because he made it clear in an interview with the Channel TV that he believes in the unity of the country, also when APC merged they agreed that the North will produce the President in 2015 and that the south will now produce it in 2023.
I suggest that Tinubu should consult these Politicians, for him to be successful as APC Presidential Candidate.
