A former governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, while speaking about the efforts of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in the just-concluded 2023 presidential election, says he deserves everything he's doing due to his outstanding performances in the presidential election.
Mr. Ayodele Fayose made this statement while speaking during an interview with the TVC news, where he further attested to the claims of the LP candidate that he has been a watchman for 17 years, saying Peter Obi is a man of little words, and if he says so then it is never a lie but the bitter truth.
According to him, "Peter Obi is an institution now; he has become an issue in Nigerian politics; you know Peter Obi is a very smart guy; you'll see him carry his bag alone, enter his car alone; he said he has been using the same wristwatch for 17 years; he's a man of little wants and little needs; he's saying the truth; take a look at his shoe; very modest; he says that what makes him comfortable as long as it's not torn, so he deserves everything that is happening."
