Two PDP Former Governors Visit Tinubu At His Lagos Residence On Tuesday

The National Leader of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, received the former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Peter Fayose, and his Ogun counterpart, Gbenga Daniel, at his residence in Lagos on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.

Fayose and Daniel served as governors of Ekiti and Ogun respectively under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Gbenga Daniel, who was the Director General of the Atiku Presidential Campaign in 2019, decamped to the All Progressive Congress earlier this year.

The former governors paid a visit to Tinubu, who returned to Nigeria a few days ago after successful surgery in the United Kingdom.

Ayodele Fayose, who is a chieftain of the PDP, said on his Twitter handle that he visited Tinubu because it is good to celebrate people when they are alive rather than signing their condolences note.

"Today, I was at Bourdillon to wish Asiwaju Bola Tinubu soonest recovery. Health issues know no political party, and in this part of the world, we seldom celebrate people when they are alive. Rather, we like to sign condolence registers. To me, that is not the best way to live," Fayose posted on Twitter.
