1. COVID-19: FG Considers Lockdown Of 18 Local Government Areas
The federal government may consider a lockdown of the 18 Local Government Areas considered to account for 60 percent of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria in the next phase of eased lockdown in the country.
The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha gave the indication on an interview with reporters and other correspondents after leading some members of the task force to brief the president, Mohammadu Buhari at the presidential villa, Abuja on Monday.
Mustapha who is the Secretary to the Government of the Federation said affected state governments would implement what is called "precision lockdown".
2. Court Dismisses Certificate Forgery Suit Against Edo Governor, Obaseki
A federal high court in Abuja on Monday dismissed a suit filed against the governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki.
The Plaintiffs, Edobor Williams, Ugbesia Abudu Godwin, and Amedu Dauda Anakhu in the suit marked: FCH/ABJ/CS/553/2020 accused the governor of forging his Bachelor of Arts Certificate in classical studies from the University of Ibadan.

4. Giadom Hands Over To APC Caretaker Committee Chairman, Buni
The former Acting National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Victor Giadom, on Monday handed over to the Chairman of the party's Caretaker / Extra-ordinary National Convention Planning Committee, Mai Mala Buni.
The handing over ceremony was held behind closed doors at the National Working Committee conference room at the APC National Secretariat, Abuja.
Giadom assured members of the committee of his readiness to support and partner with the team towards the realization of the party goals.
