According to report from Sahara Reporters, security agencies has been issued an order from above to spare nobody once seen with AK-47 or sophisticated weapons. This is coming days after President Muhammadu Buhari said that the Federal Government wouldn't negotiate with bandits because they are criminals. The president had also vowed that the abduction of school girls in Zamfara would be the last kidnap case Nigerians would hear about.
On the efforts being made to rid Zamfara and other northern states of bandits, Shehu said the Federal government has decided to go brutal on bandits who chose not to repent from their evil way.
In his words;
“President Muhammadu Buhari has issued an order to security operatives to go into the bushes and shoot whoever they see with sophisticated weapons like AK-47,”
“He ordered security Operatives not to spare anyone seen with sophisticated weapons of any kind."
The presidential spokesperson had earlier disclosed that the Federal Government after it got an information that arms were being transported to bandits via private jets declared Zamfara a no-fly zone. The order issued by President Muhammadu Buhari means that security operatives have gotten all the power they need to go hunting for bandits and all those perpetrating evil.
This is really a good one from President Muhammadu Buhari, let's hope that this order ignites fear in the camp of bandits and make them cease fire.
