Today's headlines: PDP Chief dares Garba Shehu to travel without escorts, Boko Haram attacks Adamawa.

The Chieftain of People's Democratic Party in Delta State, Chief Sunny Onuesoke has dared the SSA to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu. Chief Sunny made a challenge to travel by road without escorts inorder to face what motorist pass through on Nigerian highways. He told Garba that insecurity has made many travellers and motorist carry out fasting and prayers before they embark on any journey.

Boko Haram members left a community in Adamawa in tears and fear. They attacked Kwapre village in Garaha Ward, leading to five deaths and the abduction of some women. The terrorist group also destroyed some houses of members of that community. This attack was never expected because the community has been very peaceful.

A 24 year old cobbler and a member of Man O War was struck by electric current. According to reports, the young man climbed the pole to reconnect an electric cable for his neighbor. Unfortunately for him power was restored to the community during the connection process and he got electrocuted by a naked wire. The shock was so severe and he fell off the pole and died. Omotosho usually assisted families in reconnecting electrical cables illegally in return for money.

Nigerians should avoid illegal reconnection and report any electrical problems to the appropriate authorities.

May God keep guiding and protecting his children from danger.
