The former governor of Abia State ,Theodore Orji ,has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for issues bothering on financial crimes .
He was arrested by the anti- graft agency when he was about to board a flight from the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport Abuja .
Also , Chinedu , the son of the former governor who is also the speaker of the state house of assembly turned himself in for questioning .
A monthly sum of N500 million for the 8years he spent as governor has been unaccounted for .
The former governor who has been on the commissions watchlist for some time was intercepted at the Abuja International airport on Thursday and whisked to the Jabi Office of the commission.
Senator Orji and his sons Chinedu and Ognonna are being quizzed by the EFCC for issues bothering on money laundering and misapprehension of funds .
