His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed today attended a reception of holy matrimony between Angel and Robert, a daughter to his lawyer, Chris Uche, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).

At the ceremony held at International Ecumenical Centre, Central District Abuja, Governor Bala congratulated the couple and called on them to respect each other. 

The Governor who was accompanied by his wife, the first Lady, Bauchi state,Her Excellency, Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed saluted Mr Chris Uche for his contribution in the judicial system of the country as well as advocating for justice and equity.

Governor Bala stressed the need for mutual understanding among Nigerians for the unity, progress and development of the country. 

Others who attended the matrimonial reception were, His Excellency, former President of Nigeria, President Goodluck Jonathan, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, Peter Obi, former Presidential Vice President of Nigeria, Governor of Bayelsa, Douye Diri, former Governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha among others.
