Furious youths brandishing weapons in the Sabongari area of Kano.
Hawkers and roadside makeshift shops gave been destroyed by the authorities with no where for them to go or even source for their daily bread.
As times are hard, and the uncertainties of Covid-19 keeps on ravaging the economy with no economic palliatives in sight, the youths have had to confront the government in the most ruthless way, said a particular onlooker.
There has been burning of tyres and brandishing of planks and machetes by hooligans in the area.
Some youths have decided to highjack the situation and thus seen in it an opportunity to loot properties of the affected persons.
As at the writing of this report, the Police are yet to arrive at the spot to return normalcy and starve the chances of the situation cascading into a fatal one.
