The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, has condoled her colleague, Senator representing Enugu West Senatorial District, Ike Ekweremadu over the demise of his brother, Hon. Mathias Ekweremadu.
The late Hon. Ekweremadu was until his death the younger brother of the Senator and Enugu state Commissioner for Transport. The deceased was former State House of Assembly member and also the Chairman of Aninri LGA on different occasions.
While Condoling the former deputy Senate President Ekwunife expressed sadness over the death of his brother. She said that the Ekweremadu family has always been very supportive and great friends of her immediate family. She noted that the deceased touched many lives positively and devoted the greater part of his life as a servant leader. Ekwunife described the death of late Hon. Ekweremadu as a great loss to Aninri LGA and Enugu state at large.
Reacting, Senator Ekweremadu welcomed Ekwunife and thanked her for the heartfelt condolence, noting that their friendship will continue to blossom. He said that Ekwunife knows the value of relationship and a very hardworking woman. Ekweremadu prayed for the soul of his brother to rest in peace.
The Chairman Senate Committee on Science and Technology also on behalf of her family and good people of Anambra Central Senatorial District extended condolences to the immediate family of the deceased and the Enugu state government. She prayed God to accept the soul of the deceased and give all those affected by the death the fortitude to bear the loss.
