The Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, while speaking to clerics on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 in the state said that irrespective of the numerous challenges the country is going through, Nigeria's unity is non-negotiable.
He noted that he is optimistic that Nigeria would not experience another civil war nor break up.
Dapo Abiodun urged citizens to trust in God as no problem is beyond God. He emphasized his faith in God describing it as a mountain moving faith; adding that God alone can do the impossible.
He further said that, though Nigeria is currently going through a difficult time, but we will overcome all challenges.
The governor then charged citizens to unite and fight their common enemy as Nigeria's diversity remains her strength.
He also noted that in the past few years, his administration has been fair to all, irrespective of their religious inclinations.
This encouragement from the Governor of Ogun State seem to be coming at the time when Nigeria needs it most. Where there are several agitations for Biafra and Oduduwa Republics.
