President Muhammad Buhari sends condolence to ex-Minister over eldest son’s death

A ghastly road crash has claimed the life of the first son of Hajiya Aisha Abubakar, the former Minister of State, Industry, Trade and Investment.Two other sons of the minister and a daughter sustained injuries in the accident. President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed condolences to Hajiya Aisha Abubakar, the former Minister of State, Industry, Trade and Investment following the death of her son, Aliyu Abubakar. In a message to the father of the deceased, Alhaji Kabiru Mukhtar, and the former minister, President Buhari described the death of the young Aliyu as extremely sad.

The president prayed for quick recovery for two brothers and sister of the deceased, who are currently on admission in hospital. “He, buhari also urged doctors, nurses and other health workers to do their best to save the life of other victims of the accident under their care.” He also prayed to Allah to repose the soul of the deceased and grant the family and friends of the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss. The former minister, however, thanked the president for sending the delegation.She expressed appreciation of the family for the president’s demonstration of love and care for them. (NAN)
