Tinubu Relocates To Defence House, Pledges Fairness:

Nigeria’s President-elect, Bola Tinubu, on Thursday, relocated to the Defence Guest House in the Maitama District of Abuja, from where he will function until he is sworn in as President on May 29, 2023.

“The President-elect will be moving into Defence House, in Maitama, FCT, where he will spend the next couple of months, and from where he will move into the Presidential Villa,” a tweet by the All Progressives’ Congress Presidential Campaign Council read on Thursday.

I Never Stepped Down From Race – APGA Candidate, Nweke:

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in Enugu State, Mr. Frank Nweke Jnr. has denied stepping down from the race.

There was a social media report that Nweke was now supporting the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate, Barr. Peter Mbah.

But addressing a press conference on Friday, Nweke said there was no way he would step down when he was the most qualified among all the candidates.

Gov Oyebanji Inspects Roads In Ado-Ekiti, Ikere:

Ekiti State governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji said his administration will continue to ensure that government projects are in conformity with high standards so that Ekiti people would have value for their money.

Gov Oyebanji disclosed this in Ado Ekiti on Thursday when he led some state officials on an inspection of road projects in some parts of Ikere and Ado Ekiti.

Fire Service Commends Lagos Govt For Infrastructure, Upgrade:

The Lagos State Fire Service has said the fire and rescue management enjoyed development under the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the 50 years of its establishment.

In a statement on its official Facebook page, the agency said the administration rehabilitated 13 existing fire stations across the metropolis to increase the productivity and service delivery of firemen as a provision for a conducive working environment.
