Buhari Govt Deliberately Building Up Obstacles For The Incoming Tinubu Govt - Political Analyst Says

A political analyst, Dr Busari Dauda, has asserted that the current president Muhammadu Buhari - led government is deliberately building - up obstacles for the incoming Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu government (Punch).

Outgoing President, Muhammadu Buhari and Incoming President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The political analyst, who made this assertion recently, while decrying the last minute decision by the current administration to award numerous contracts worth trillions of naira, argued that the approved amounts for these projects, would add to the already existing challenges that the incoming Tinubu - led government will face after it takes over power on May 29.

Cited report.

Dauda, who visibly expressed the view that these moves by the Buhari govt were somewhat wicked, declared; "I think the current (Buhari) government is deliberately building up obstacles for the (Tinubu) government that is coming in. Remember that these federal government had promised to remove oil subsidy in June and implement an increment in the salaries for lecturers and medical doctors after it would have handed over to the incoming administration. Why are they putting all the challenges on the new government that is coming in?"
