It was reported by Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on New Media, Bashir Ahmad that the President has travelled to the UK for his routine medical check-up. However, the report had received backlash from Nigerians who said the president and his administration have failed Nigerians.
However, some people are not happy about what is happening because of the worsening healthcare facilities in the country. Instead of the federal government to fix our healthcare system, they are busy travelling abroad for treatment, leaving the country's healthcare sector in a sorry state.
Meanwhile, after the report went viral on social media, Omoleye Sowore, a Human Rights Activist had earlier asked Nigerians in the UK where the President had travelled to for treatment, to occupy the Hospital and make sure that they send him back to Nigeria.
In the latest development, Bashir Ahmad has tweeted again that the President has arrived in the UK. After that video went viral on social media, Sowore has released another video. In that video he was heard saying that Nigerians in the UK have already occupied the hospital and are ready to send President Buhari back to Nigeria.
According to him in the video, Nigerians were already at the hospital waiting for the President to arrive. He said Nigerians are suffering at home while the President is in the UK for medical check up. He added that in Nigeria, there are no good healthcare system.
What can you make of this development? Let's hear from you soon.
