'Asiwaju Will Not Forgive Kosofe & Alimosho For What They Did To Him In The Last Election' -W. Oluwo

A close associate of former Lagos Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and a Former Lagos state Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Wale Oluwo has alleged that the new-President elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu might hold two local governments in Lagos responsible for his loss in the state. If you would recall that Peter Obi defeated Asiwaju in Lagos for the very first time in the state politics.

Wale Oluwo speaking in an interview with Yoruba Tooto Tv alleged that Asiwaju lost the election, not because of tribal influence. He asserted that the APC lost in local government areas which they had usually cleared in previous elections in the state. He clarified that the Igbos are only few in numbers in Kosofe and Alimosho, but Asiwaju lost this two locales to Peter Obi. He stated that the APC should reevaluate what had caused their defeat and not to wield in religious sentiment.

He said, ''The Igbos are many in Amuwo Odofin but the Yorubas still dominate them in that area. Same in Ojo and Ajegunke. But the most shocking part is what happened in Kosofe and Alimosho, I think Asiwaju will not forgive that two local governments for what they did to him in the last election.

He lost completely in Kosofe and Alimosho. And if Kosofe is divided into five, the Yoruba has 3½ supremacy in that area and the same with Alimosho. In Ikeja, Yoruba Language speakers are the owners of that area, and APC also lost there. And finally, I was born in Shomolu and I have lived there for over 25 years. The Ijebus are the people who majorly live in that area. This is a 100% Yoruba area, I'm not sure APC won a polling unit in that local government.

All these are Yoruba areas that APC has not lost in there since 1999 but they lost now. So how does this relate to Igbo agenda? The APC should have a rethink and re-strategize. This has nothing to do with tribe.''
